Terms of use
Last updated 7 November 2026
These terms cover your use of Medistry and any pass you buy. Medistry is run by HY Industry LTD. You can contact us at ukmedicalschoolinterviews@gmail.com. We aim to respond within 2 to 3 working days.
What you get
Medistry is an online course to help you prepare for UK medical and dental school interviews. It has two separate guides: a medicine guide and a dentistry guide. For each guide we sell the 3 month pass (£24) and 6 month pass (£39). Each pass is a one-off payment that gives one person full access to the guide it was bought for, for the length of the pass, starting from the moment you pay. A medicine pass does not open the dentistry guide, and a dentistry pass does not open the medicine guide. It is not a subscription and it will not renew or charge you again.
If you buy a new pass for a guide while your pass for that guide is still running, the new one starts when the current one ends, so you never lose time you have paid for.
If you buy the wrong guide by mistake, email us within 48 hours of buying and we will swap your pass to the other guide for its full length. This is a goodwill swap, not a refund.
Your account
- You sign in with a link sent to your email address, so please keep access to your email secure.
- A pass is for your own use. Please don’t share your account or let other people use it.
- If you are under 18, please make sure a parent or guardian is happy for you to buy a pass, especially if you are using their card.
Your right to cancel
Because the course is digital content that you can use straight away, UK law says your usual 14-day right to cancel ends once access starts, as long as you agreed to that before paying. We ask you to tick a box confirming this at checkout. Our refund policy explains when we will still give you a refund.
Using the content
All the guidance, model answers and other material on Medistry belong to us. You can use them for your own interview preparation. You must not copy, share, resell or publish them, in whole or in part, or use automated tools to download them. If we find a pass being shared or the content being copied, we may end that pass without a refund.
Practice recordings
The practice recorder lets you record yourself on video or voice and play it back. We never store any video or audio data: recordings stay in your browser on your own device and are deleted when you change question or leave the page. If you download a recording, keeping it safe is up to you. See our privacy policy for more.
Our content is guidance, not a guarantee
We work hard to keep the course accurate and up to date, but interview formats and medical school requirements change. Please always check the details for each university you apply to. Using Medistry cannot guarantee an interview, a particular score or an offer. Nothing on the site is medical advice, including any example doses or clinical scenarios, which are there for practice only.
If something goes wrong
If the site isn’t working properly or the course isn’t as described, please tell us and we will put it right. If we can’t, you may be entitled to a full or partial refund. The site may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, and if a long outage affects your access we will extend your pass to make up for it.
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not using reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, or affects your legal rights as a consumer.
Changes
We may update the course content at any time to improve it. We may also update these terms, and if a change affects a pass you have already bought, we will tell you by email.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
